Install a screw into a stud in your wall. Installing it into a stud ensures that it will be stable enough when you pull on it when you use the opener. Note that some of our wider signs will do better with 2 screws. You can use a drywall anchor with the second screw that is not in the stud.
Adjust screws so that they are less than 1/4 inch from wall.
The sign can now be hung on the screws by sliding the screws into the groove on the back of the sign. (See picture below)

HANGING OUR BEER BOTTLE OPENER SIGNS

Remove thin wood panel from back of shelf. Also remove the reinforcement pieces (if any are attached).

These pieces can be discarded.
Install cleat onto wall ensuring that is is level - 45 degree angle faces the wall. IMPORTANT~ Make sure that the screws are installed into studs.
Once cleat is installed, shelf can be hung on it. No other screws are needed
